With closer communication between China and the rest of world, interpretationhas become one of the popular jobs. Meanwhile simultaneous interpretation is themost popularized way which has been used in more than95%internationalconference. Under this circumstance, more and more experts study on simultaneousinterpretation. Against this backdrop, the author chose Chapter Three (simultaneousinterpretation) of A Systematic Approach to Teaching Interpretation as the source text.The translation was done under the guidance of the interpretive approach theory. Theauthor used different translation methods, such as, pro-forms, literal translation andfree translation in order to translating the source test more original. Through detailedanalysis of the theory and the translation methods, this report aims to shed light on thetranslation of similar texts.
