Archaeological Research On The Frontier Walled Sites In Inner Mongolia Region In Qin And Han Dynasties

Inner Mongolia region, because of its special geographical position and natural environment conditions, since entered the period of civilization,farming culture and nomadic culture collided in this region.In Qin and Han dynasties,the Center Plains and the northern nomadic people is fierce competition for the region.For guarding its northern border,Qin and Han governments have constructed the defense system that include the Great Wall and border towns.Therefore,a lot of frontier walled sites ware saved in this region.These frontier walled sites is an important part of historical and cultural relic in Inner Mongolia region.It is necessary to have a profound research on it,and we can learn more about the history and cultural of this region in Qin and Han dynasties.About the border town of Qin and Han dynasties, senior scholars has made many excellent research results,but the research is more focused on individual site,comprehensive research are relatively few,this belongs to the weak link of research.This article has a archaeological research on the frontier walled sites in Inner Mongolia region in Qin and Han dynasties,which on the basis of archaeological materials and related literature.And it explores the establishment of the background, the problem such as distribution and classification, the main characteristics, and puts forward some views.Because my ability is limited,thus many problems unsolved in this paper.So we need make a more profound research in the future.
