At present,there are two main forms of Teaching Chinese as a second language in China:class teaching and "one to one"teaching.These two forms have been co-existed,complemented mutually,developed together since the beginning of Teaching Chinese as a second language,basically meeting the learning needs of most of learing objects.Comparative study of the forms is conducive to reveal the applicable objects of the two different teaching forms,clear we should take what teaching methods and strategies under different organizational forms of teaching,to help the teachers and students according to the different situations to choose the appropriate teaching forms and promote the development of Teaching Chinese as a second language in practice.In this paper,the author on the basis of own internship experience,combined with other teaching cases,tries to objectively and fairly describe.And then contrast analysis of these two kinds of teaching forms,and argue their advantages and disadvantages to put forward my opinions and suggestions.First of all,the paper introduces orgin of the topic,reviews the current situation of the related research and discusses the purpose significance of this topic,briefly elaborates the methods——questionnaires,comparative analysis and classromm observation and so on;Meanwhile,the paper will briefly elaborate principles and specific organizational forms of the class teaching and "one to one"teaching of Teaching Chinese as a second language.Then the paper conducts a questionnaire survey for specific objects of class teaching and "one to one"teaching in Lanzhou University.Through the questionnaire to understand their learning background,motivation,expectation and satisfaction of the current teaching situation and so on,providing detailed data support for the comparative analysis of the two teaching methods.Next,this paper analyzes and summarizes the specific characteristics of two kinds of teaching organization forms respectively from the teachers’roles,teaching objects and choosing teaching materials three aspects.And on this basis,the paper summarizes the four advantages of class teaching,for example the strong study atmosphere and good group interaction and the poor pertinence and low students participation of teaching three aspects flaws.Correspondingly,"one to one"teaching is teaching with targeted,easy to get teaching feedback,etc.At the same time there is also a lack of collective teaching atmosphere,competition’s and communication’s awareness desalination and other issues.Through specific cases’analysis intuitively, graphically comparatively study the two kinds of teaching organization forms,in order to have in-depth understanding of all aspects of the two kinds of teaching modes,for example the teaching objects,teaching methods,class atmosphere.Finally,aiming at the shortcomings and deficiencies of two kinds of teaching organization forms,this article puts forward the corresponding improvement suggestions from the perspective of practice,in order to render contribution for Teaching Chinese as a second language.
