This thesis is a research on Chaconne by the great German composer in Baroque period, Johann Sebastian Bach. By studying the creative background of the music piece, the composer himself, his style, and the role on how it has been regarded in the violin solo performances at all times as well as worldwide,the author has thoroughly dissected the content of Chaconne,including its characterization, forms, mode, harmony, polyphony, tempo and etc.The author has also delicately examined such varied versions of music as Ivan Galamian’s using Bach’s original manuscript.The focus on a few representative virtuoso, for example:Now recognized worldwide famous violin virtuoso, playing violin works fastest violinist Jascha Heifetz; very romantic, playing melodies like to fill the gap violinist Itzhak Perlman and so on. From the aspects of their playing style may cause growth environment, living and learning experience and so, it analyzes how they grasp the style of this song, for example, the same music in the same paragraph or even the same phrase sounds, how different performers were the different treatment, using different speeds of the different ways of playing the like. Through research, the author of the work and then play with their own practical experience, find their own way of playing, the correct interpretation of the style works on the basis of a reasonable second time performing music creation, creating their own unique playing style, I hope these can be how to teach violin works in teaching, in practice, how to interpret able to make some contribution.
