The Measurement And Calculation Of The Average Spectrum Of Chinese Speech And Whispered Chinese Speech

Language is a kind of widespread physical phenomena. The average spectrum of Chinese speech is the statistical distribution of sound power in accordance with the sound frequency, when people speak Chinese speech at normal volume. The average spectrum of whispered Chinese speech is the statistical distribution of sound power in accordance with the sound frequency, when people speak whispered Chinese speech. Both of the average spectrum of Chinese speech and average spectrum of whispered Chinese speech are important basises for designing the communication systems, such as broadcasting system, telephones, etc..Based on the method of speech noise, the power spectral density level of Chinese speech different from the National Standard GB-T7347-1987, The standard spectrum of Chinese speech, and the power spectral density level of whispered Chinese speech different from the National Standard GB-T7348-1987, The standard spectrum of whispered Chinese speech was obtained in this paper. In this paper, some improvements were adopted, including experiment environment, measurement and calculation methods, Chinese speech and whispered Chinese speech materials, experiment subjects, etc.. Based on the calculation methods, the average spectrum of Chinese speech the average spectrum of whispered Chinese speech were achieved. The average spectrum of Chinese speech and the average spectrum of whispered Chinese speech provide the basis for the design of electro-acoustic device and all the systems of generating, transmitting, receiving and processing Chinese speech and whispered Chinese speech signals.
