Task-Based Teaching In Foreign Language Intermediate Oral Class’s Application

In the past two decades, task-based teaching has received worldwide attention. However, the application research on task-based teaching method is not strong enough, within which research on the task-based spoken language teaching is also scant.This thesis is based on the oral Chinese teaching as well as features of task-based teaching both at home and abroad, to introduce the task-based teaching model into the oral Chinese teaching, and to explore task-based foreign language teaching in intermediate oral class in the rationality and applicability of the implementation according to design principles of task-based teaching method. Also, this thesis discusses how to implement task-based method reasonably and effectively in the intermediate oral Chinese class, trying to develop a more thorough and systematic study of intermediate oral Chinese teaching.This thesis is divided into six chapters. The first chapter discusses the meaning of the topic, the purpose of the thesis and the present research of task-based teaching at home and abroad. The second chapter introduces the related theories on task-based teaching. The third chapter analyses the oral Chinese class of the task-based teaching mode. The fourth chapter elaborates the rationality of the intermediate and Chinese class the task-based teaching. The fifth chapter discusses how to implement the task-based teaching in the oral Chinese class reasonably and effectively. The last chapter summarizes the content and the shortcomings and the future outlook for the task-based teaching.The author hopes that the thesis can provide beneficial help for the oral Chinese teaching, and arouse more scholars and teachers to conduct a more in-depth study and practice of task-based teaching.
