Task-based Language Teaching TBLT is a widely use teaching method in the second language teaching. It focuses on the use of communicative language ability. In the actual teaching process, students are encouraged to complete the communicative tasks using real creative target language. As a volunteer of international Chinese teacher, I did one year teaching practice in Confucius Institute of Dongseo University in South Korea during June2010 and June 2011. According to the investigation there, I found that, first of all, the Korean students pay more efforts on the grammar, vocabulary while weak in listening speaking abilities. Second, most of the students in Confucius Institute in South Korea are single-nationality, once they have difficulties in studying; they often turn to Korean which has an impact on the oral practice. In addition, the learning objectives of most of the students in Confucius Institute in South Korea are having a better understanding during traveling in China,According to the Task-based Language Teaching Theory, I made practice in the primary oral Chinese class in Confucius Institute. The innovation is that the topic is focus on the single-nationality students in South Korea, but due to lack of teaching experience and wider practical demonstration, there are still some deficiencies. |
