Around the turn of this century, a significant trend of rural migrant workers in city migrating from their hometown to the city appears, which urges some writers to depict the living condition and spiritual journey of them lovingly. In the new century, more and more writers are concerned about the theme of rural migrant workers in city, and this theme which is related to the process of the modernization of China, provides an excellent field for writers to express their ideas of modernity. Taking the relationship between author-identification and novels of rural migrant workers in city as the research objects, the author analyzes the underlying causes of the multi-creation, and summarizes the advantages and disadvantages that have effects on writers, and further presents evaluations and recommendations for the writing of rural migrant workers in city.In the preface, the author analyzed the relationship between author-attitude, author-experience and author-identification, and then found the research vacancy of the author-identification, and further analyzed the values and significance of it.In the first chapter, the author recalls two peaks in the modern and contemporary Chinese literature of the writing for peasant migrating to the city, and concludes that aesthetic experience is the significant association between author-identification and the novel of rural migrant workers in city, and then based on the analysis of the writing, the author analyzes the different influences of the congenital identification and the acquired identification on author-experience, and divides the writers participating in the writing of the theme of rural migrant workers in city into three categories, namely rural working authors(RWA), rural city-cadastral authors(RCA), urban city-cadastral authors(UCA).In the following three chapters, the author analyses the multi-theme and aesthetic features of the novel of rural migrant workers in city in this century based on the characteristics of author-identification.In the second chapter, the author analyses the marginalization of the social identity and literary situation of RWA, and explores that how some excellent RWA get close to the mainstream literature from spontaneous writing such as writing what they want to say, and how they consciously integrate the quality of modern novels into the traditional and popular style.In the third chapter, it is concluded that RCA own the dual identification of "son of country" and "intellectual", which results in the multiplicity of their life understanding and aesthetic experience, and their peasant-worker novels have profound implications and a large amount of tension. In the new century, RCA try to explore new urban-rural concept and narrative attitude, and try to weaken the sorrow of the novel using homesick aesthetics and witty comedy.In the forth chapter, the UCA are taken as the analyzing object, and depending on the dual identification of city resident and intellectual, they create a comprehensive image of the rural migrant worker in city and show a rare introspection of the city resident in terms of urban-rural relation. What’s more, women writers are the majority of the UCA, and their warmhearted narratives of the daily city lives add some warm-toned aesthetic elements to the novel of rural migrant workers in city.The fifth chapter deepens the full paper. Firstly, the differences of these three writers are comparatively analyzed from the aspects of subject matter, aesthetic pursuit and artistic technique, which reveal that writer identification has a significant impact on novel writing. Secondly, reasons for the defect of the novels of rural migrant workers in city are explored from the commonness of these novels. Finally, the author tries to find the advantages of the diversification and coincidence of writer identity, rich the spirit of the writers and promote the further development of the peasant-worker novel writing. And the suggestion of "’history-humanity’dual spiritual values" are developed for the writers by analyzing the relationship between the double significance of modernity and the writing,In the conclusion part, it is highlighted that the rural migrant workers in city not only exist as "the other" in novels, but also reflect the writers’ contradiction facing the modernity, and further we have high expectations for the modernity writing with times characteristics and Chinese characteristics finally.
