The first half of the20th century, the student movement, as an important part of the mass movement under the leadership of Chinese Communist Party(CCP), highlighted amazing power on China’s political stage. To the two competing parties (Guomingdang and CCP) in the War of Liberation, it can be said who commands the youth who can hold the future. CCP’s political technology of public opinion regulation in the mobilization process played a powerful guidance, which successfully constructed "consensus" in the student movement. In one sense, CCP’s highly skilled-used of political technology and the victory of military fronts, helped to complete the historical mission of CCP’s seizure of the power.This thesis studies the student movement——"against hunger, the civil war, the persecution"(referred to "5-20") in1947, basing on the angle of view about constructing "consensus". This thesis uses for reference of the theories related public opinion and proposes an analysis frame of public opinion regulation in "5·20" movement to explore the practicing logic and further feature of the student movement.For the whole frame, the thesis is divided into six chapters:The first chapter is introduction. It introduces the origin, the purpose, the methods of the research and the literature reviewing, which helps to grasp the current research status and prepare a further study.The second chapter proposes the train of thought of the research and the frame work of analysis. It introduces general train of thought of the research and defines the core concepts. On the theories related public opinion and constructivism, this thesis proposes an analysis frame——"consensus" construction process.The third chapter is about potential opinion guidance and "5·20"consensus budding. It reveals the process and methods controlled by CCP in guiding students’ potential opinion, according to the specific situation and the basic rules of consensus budding.The fourth chapter is about apparent opinion shaping and "5·20" consensus stimulation. It is aimed to illustrate the shaping process that CCP used "text" to design students’apparent opinion in order to stimulate "5·20" consensus.The fifth chapter is about behavior opinion stirring and "5·20" consensus upgrading. It introduces CCP used solid organization networks to lift strong behavior opinion to upgrade "5·20" consensus.The sixth chapter is conclusion and discussion. Firstly, it summaries the thesis that students’ intention to take action is gradually constructed by CCP’s public opinion regulation technology based on the specific situation, which feedbacks the great support of legitimacy to CCP. Secondly, it explains some problems worth to discuss in further study.
