The media supervision and legal supervision is the most important twoparts of the whole social supervision system in our country.The implementation of thepresent level of media supervision and legal supervision is also a reflection of the levelof mechanism.But the media supervision and legal supervision are two different formsof supervision.However,between them there is inseparable and very subtle dialecticalrelationship.Along with their respective development of media supervision and legalsupervision, the conflict of media supervision and legal supervision is a commonphenomenon.While the current supervision system of our country existing can not verygood adjust and balance them.Some appeared news infringement question.It damagedjudicial dignity and lost news justice in some degree.And also maked the freedom of thepress limited. Of course, in the judicial practice, the media supervision and legalsupervision has its harmonious conjunction side. Media supervision plays a greatsupplementary role to legal supervision.Although there are some research institutionsoon the conflict and agreement of media supervision and legal supervision, from thecurrent related material, the media supervision and legal supervision and balanceresearch is still in its initial stage.Some scholars in our country writed papersoccasionally.And these articles only partially described.They only saw the conflict andagreement phenomenon between media supervision and legal supervision.And didn’tget to the bottom of its causes.The proposed protection measures of them are lack ofoperability.Few researches are made in professional and college students of the legalpeofession.This paper first shows respective theory oft media supervision and legalsupervision.Analysis and summary of the specific situation and practice of the currentdomestic and foreign media supervision and legal supervision are the second.Andaccording to the present situation and the practice,the conflict and agreement of mediasupervision and legal supervision are summarized.And then analyze the reasons forconflict and agreement. Finally, combined with China’s specific national conditions,propose specific measures and recommendations for how to build a harmonious relationbetween media supervision and legal supervision.
