A Theoretical And Practical Study On The CPC’s Urban-rural Relations Theory Since1949

The urban-rural relationship is the most basic relationship and interrelationship in the human society, it widely presents between urban and rural areas. Since the founding of the People’s Republic of China, The Communist Party of China insists on studying the theory and practice of the urban-rural relationship. It had obtained many successful experience and failure lessons during the whole process. Based on the specific situations in different stage, it had formed a series of urban-rural relations theory with Chinese characteristics and times spirit. At present, China is trying to build a new pattern of urban-rural relationship, so that there are many problems and contradictions. Therefore, study on the theory and practice of the urban-rural relationship of Communist Party of China has important significance for fully achieve the social goal of building a well-off society.Firstly, this paper introduces the thought of urban-rural relations of Marx and Engels which is the basic theory of the Communist Party of China’s urban-rural relations theory. Secondly, this paper has summarized theoretical achievements of the Communist Party of China urban-rural relations that based on a review of the historical evolution. Finally, analyzing and evaluating the Communist Party of China’s urban-rural relations theory to provide the beneficial reference and enlightenment for our country to construct the harmonious relationship between urban and rural areas.
