As a special marketing mode, direct selling was born in China and has achievedrelatively large market development and in the reflection of value of direct selling.there are also a series of problems exposed in the development, and thus theexploration into how to conduct effective market supervision over direct sellingindustry and industry guide become a topic with relatively practical significance andtheoretical value. The academic research results of associations by the theoreticalcircle and the matured experience of foreign direct selling associations show that theplaying of the autonomy role of direct marketing associations can be a beneficial idea.On the basis of the research path, this paper probes into the systematic significance,legal nature and characteristics, the construction of structural system, autonomydistribution and other aspects of direct selling associations in China to be establishedin the future.This paper is divided into four parts:Part One is the overview of direct selling associations. This part explains thehistory of direct selling associations, introduces the international practice that theforeign direct selling management is bound to resort to association autonomy,analyzes the legal nature of direct selling associations and probes into thecharacteristics and functions thereof.Part Two discusses the significance of legal system of direct selling associations.This part, from the perspective of law, especially the economic law, probes into thesystematic significance of direct selling associations, points out that direct sellingassociations provide prevention and protection mechanism against government undueinterference for direct selling enterprises, are a third path when direct selling marketand the government are both out of order and direct selling associations play the roleof a special demand supplier for direct selling industry and in the meanwhile incombination with the realistic difficulties facing direct selling associations in Chinaanalyzes the justification of the autonomy of direct selling associations in China.Part Three reviews the legal system of direct selling associations in foreigncountries and Taiwan. This part mainly introduces the specific practices of theautonomy of direct selling associations in foreign countries and Taiwan and combs the legal system which is of reference significance to the establishment of directselling associations in China.Party Four discusses the measures and suggestions for the establishment of thesystem of direct selling associations in China. This part analyzes the legal nature ofdirect selling associations in China, how to construct the structural system and how todistribute autonomy from the perspective of the significance of system construction.
