Pertinence is very important subject of ideological and political education. I think pertinence of the ideological and political education has two meanings. One is as a social activity, that is, from a general view what is ideological and political education aimed at. The other one is the pertinence of the concrete ideological and political education. These two aspects research are indispensable in the research of pertinence of ideological and political education. Study of the former is theoretical basis for study of the latter. This paper demonstrates the foundation of the pertinence of the ideological and political education from the rationality aspect and reality aspect.Part III:Discussed the strategy of improve the pertinence of the ideological and political education: deeply understand and grasp educational object’ demand, ideological and political education must correspond to people’s spiritual world development demand, and insist the theory of people oriented, give play to the subjectivity of educational object.
