Heller is an important representative of the new Marx doctrine in Eastern Europehas been regarded as the spokeman of Budapest School and is the student and assistantof Lukacs. Her broad research field involves several aspects, ranging from aesthetics, philosophy, ethics, sociology, law, etc. More than40of her work have been publishedand translated into many languages, such as English, German, Italian, Japanese, Chinese,Spanish, etc. The masterpieces like "Daily Life","Beyond Justice","Political Situationof Post-modern" and "Moral Trilogy", etc. She has a high reputation in the academiccircle and has won awards such as the Lessing Prize, Herman Cohen Award, GoetheMedal. Heller’s father died in Auschwitz Concentration Camp in World War II and afterthat she and her mother worked hard to escape capture, so how can a better man bepossible? Heller has always focused on the survival of people and how to lead people todo good and beyond justice. This thesis is based on the book "Beyond Justice" whichgives explanation of the new definition and rules of Heller’s static justice and theconcept and standard of dynamic justice. Moreover, she points out the paradox existingin religious belief and philosophical reason and division of echical political justice inmodern society. Based on incompleteness of the concept of ethical and political justice,Heller rethought and proposed incomplete society of ethical and political justiceconception—political norms and normative foundation of ethics. Regarding life andliberty as the substantive value has made full preparation to build surpassing justice. After discussing many conception of justice, Heller put forward the theory of surpassingjustice with the help of good life, trying to consider "beauty" and "nature" as thenorms and rules that human should obey. Although limitations in practice andideological content exist in some extent, the theory of surpassing justice is neither aUtopian fantasy nor a misreading of justice theory of Marx, for on the way of human’spursuit of justice, a good guide is necessary and a good society of surpassing justice willappear someday in the end.
