This research is qualitative research, The relationship between The United Statesand Pakistan after "9·11" event, is the major problems of this research, the author usingthe theory of national interests, analysis theoretical basis and realistic reasons ofcooperation and conflict between The United States and Pakistan After "9·11" event, onthe basis of existing research results at home and abroad.In the article, the author firstly reviews and summarizes basic situation anddevelopment history of the relationship between The United States and Pakistan After"9·11" event, than discussed and analyzed the cause of the change of the relationsbetween the two countries during this period, using the theory of national interests. Theauthor thinks that there were some common interests the between the two countries instrategic, security, economic and diplomatic, which is the foundation of cooperation. Atthe same time, there were some differing interests in the anti-terrorism policy, politicaldemocratization and nuclear issues between The U.S.-Pakistan relationship, which is theroot of the friction and conflict between the two countries. Look ahead, although TheU.S.-Pakistan relations face many difficulties and obstacles, The United States andPakistan, in many aspects, need to support and cooperate with each other, from theperspective of national interests, so the relations between the two countries also hascertain development potential.This article mainly divides into three parts to introduce The U.S.-Pakistanrelationship after "9·11" the event.The first part is "the evolution of the U.S.-Pakistan relationship after ’9·11’ event". Inthis part, The first part of this paper mainly discuss the change and development of theU.S.-Pakistan relationship in the Bush administration and the Obama administration after’9·11’ event".The second part is " the reason of the evolution of the U.S.-Pakistan relationshipafter ’9·11’ event", In this part, the author analysis the factors that lead to cooperation andconflict between The US and Pakistan.The third part is "the characteristics and prospects of The U.S.-Pakistan relationshipevolution after ’9·11’ event". This part is the focus of this article, the author firstly summarizes development characteristics of the U.S.-Pakistan relationship, and predict theU.S.-Pakistan relationship in the future.
