The Research For Grass-roots Volunteer Organizations’ Developing Mechanism

With the profound reform and development of China’s political economic system in recent years,as well as the emergence of diversified social needs the market economy expedites, it providesindispensable conditions for the birth and development of China’s grassroots volunteer organizations.The appearance and development of grassroots volunteer organizations plays an important role inmaking up for the vacancy of the Chinese government and the market. And they gradually become thebuffer of social contradictions. It has been a short time since the Grassroots volunteer organizationscame out, so they are not yet matured. In addition with the special policy, economic and legalenvironment in China, many factors restrict the development of grassroots volunteer organizations inChina. Due to the ignorance or little focus on its development, some development difficulties are hard tosolve in the development of China’s grassroots volunteer organizations. Also grassroots volunteerorganizations themselves could not find out the keys to solve them. Therefore, in order to develop themmuch better, it is necessary to explore grass-roots volunteer organizations’ developing mechanism of ourcountry.Based on China’s reality, the government, and with market, voluntary sector interdependencetheory and self-organization theory as the basis, This study emphasizes three aspects of the grassrootsvolunteer organization in our country: production, operation and development. Using qualitativeresearch method, with the development of five grassroots volunteer organizations in Beijing as a case, itmainly studies the organization producing power status, organization structure, the process of operation,the mutual contact with the external environment, developing states, the development of copingstrategies, etc. On this basis, it turns out that the motion mechanism of the development of China’sgrassroots volunteer organizations, as well as their motivation mechanism, operation mechanism,incentive mechanism, interactive mechanism, has a significant impact on its development. Accordingly,it provides some ways and countermeasures to perfect developing mechanism of our country’sgrassroots volunteer organizations, and then sets examples for the sustainable development of grassrootsvolunteer organizations.
