As carrying out the reform and open policy, the economy of China grows rapidly, people’s livelihood has magnificently improved. However whilst the economy develops, we seem to have forgotten a certain group of people:the disable people. Even though the development of economy results normal people tending to have a more wealthy and colourful life, there are still a large amount of disable people struggling with their lives. It has been35years that China’s been carrying out the reform and open policy, the situation of disable people supporting cause has been much improved, although the whole progress is yet good enough to compare with the developed western countries. The disable people support system hasn’t been developed to a satisfying level, a lots of disable people living in the low-ends, still having various difficulties on basic livelihood, medication, employment and social activities etc.However, in reality, disable people are still facing various difficulties, unemployment, living cost over budgets, insuffcient of medication allowance and disable facilities, as well the discrimination from normal people, these all cause issues to disable people physically and mentally in real life.The process of disable people support in Yanji area is still below average, sympathizing their situations and feelings are necessary whlist making effort to support disable people. Financially, setting up a better employment system on disable people’s convenience, increasing their income. Life-wise, establishing an advanced and humanized disable helping system. Mentally, improving disable people’s social activities, and solve their problems completely.Helping disable people is not only the responsibility of the government but also belongs to everyone that living in this society, minimum disable problems is significantly useful for the development and the stability of our society, as well good for the whole civilization progress of this society.This following thesis will theoretically base on the angle of social support, targetting disable people in Yanji, researchs and analyses with documentaries, references and interviews, to take a view of the current living situation of disable people within Yanji and the difficulties of disabilities supporting cause in Yanji, we shall identify the issues, and analyse the reasons through them.
