Culture Transmission Research In The Context Of The New Rural Construction

This paper focuses on the research of culture transmission in the context of the new ruralconstruction that can fufill the various spiritual and cultural needs of the rural communityresidents. The purpuse of this research is to promote a coordinated and sustainabledevelopment between rural residents,communities and the environment. Therefore, to create awhole new civilised community that it has blooming economy, a full set of improved servicesand gracefull environment where enables its residents to make an easy and happy life.Through literature study, field research and survey research, this paper states themeaning of new rural culture transmission study to socialist countryside construction. Culturetransmission can satify the various cultrual needs of rural residents, improve their cultural andmoral qualities, and help solving their practical problems in order to promote new ruralconstruction. It then describes rural culture transmission current situation that mainly containsfour aspects. Public cultural facilities are insufficient in the countryside; mess media tends toignore the “three rural” issues; rural residents’ initiative of participation and feedback is low;and traditional cultures are underdeveloped and lacking organisation. After that, it analysesthe four causes accordingly. The rural economy development backwardness leads toinsufficient cultural funding which results in deficient construction of public cultural facilities;mess media hasn’t taken their social responsibilities as it should be to concern more about“three rural” issues; rural residents lost their voices in the process of culture transmission dueto their low cultural quality; and tranditional culture activities have not been properlyorganised because of the shortage of “opinion leaders”. At last, this paper proposes foursolutions for each problom causing which are to develop rural economy to build more propercommunication platforms, to improve mess media’s sense of social resposibility, to motivaterural residents to get more involved in culture transmission, and to give full play ofcommunity function and select “opinion leaders” to inherit and carry forward tranditionalcultures.
