China is a multi-ethnic socialist country. The system of regional ethnic autonomy is animportant part of our country. Since the founding of new China, especially since the reformand opening up, ethnic autonomous areas have made great achievements in economicconstruction, political construction, cultural construction, social construction and ecologicalcivilization construction, and made important contributions to China’s socialist modernizationconstruction. However, due to some historical reasons, the reality and the external aspects ofthe ethnic autonomous areas in China, there are still a lot of influence of national unity andsocial stability factors. The period of building a socialist harmonious society, establish andperfect the social stability mechanism of the ethnic autonomous areas, for the accurateunderstanding and mastering the development situation of ethnic autonomous areas adopt acorrect strategy gets great historical significance and realistic value. This paper will take thesocial stability mechanism of national autonomous area to get the breakthrough point ofresearch, The stability of the society in the ethnic autonomous areas in China which isanalyzed more in depth, the social stability problem tries to start from the theoretical andpractical point of view of the national autonomous areas, and puts forward somecountermeasures and suggestions for regional national autonomy and maintaining socialstability. The fourth part discussthe main construction of China’s ethnic autonomous region social stability mechanism, it isalso the focus of this paper. this part mainly includes the basic principles, objectives, basiccontent, the construction of national autonomous region social stability mechanism and thesocial stability mechanism of national autonomous areas.
