Bacon’s "knowledge is power" has become one of the core values of thescientific rationalist epistemology since the era of the Western Enlightenment, thiscore value lead three times science and technology revolutions, and it proved "thepower of knowledge" again and again. In China from Marxism “Science andtechnology are primary productive forces “to reform and opening up policycollective memory of "knowledge change destiny", people’s awareness of scientificknowledge has been recovering gradually from ideal pursue to some systemarrangements, for example, restored the college entrance examination since thereform and opening up as well as the access of employment qualifications, thenpeople have related the value of "knowledge" with their own destiny closely.Today’s society is the youth to play dominant and leading role, knowledge valuesoccupy an important position in the youth system of values, and it has a directimpact on young people’s learning and life, as well as their talent, employment andfuture development. However, with the depth of reform, interests’ differentiation,the emergence of multiple value choices and social contradictions, contemporaryyouth have more complicated cognition and understanding to the value of"knowledge change destiny” than ever. In this current situation, to research thedifferences of contemporary youth "knowledge change destiny” can communicateand group social value consensus integration positively, as well as barrier anddiscrete negatively. Only face and analysis diversity can have the all-roundimprovement, dynamic harmony and the healthy development of the society.This paper is based on the knowledge values of contemporary youth groups,divided into five major groups of youth, by using the theory and methods of economics, sociology, and psychology, the paper comprehensively analyzes thecharacteristics and influence factors of youth groups knowledge values’ differences,and then puts forward relevant countermeasures and suggestions. The paper isdivided into six parts: Firstly, in the introduction part, on the basis of analyzing thetopic background, reviewing and summarizing the domestic and foreign research,the paper illustrates the key points, difficulties and significance. Secondly, in thefirst chapter, by analyzing value, values, value consensus and other relatedconcepts, the paper defines the concept of "knowledge values” and introducesspecific forms of "knowledge values”; In the second chapter, the paper make detaildescription of “knowledge change destiny” values about it’s origin and historicaldevelopment, at the same time, this paper discusses the "knowledge changedestiny" value consensus’ dominant position in youth values; The third chapter isthe key part of this thesis, with the help of relevant questionnaire, the paper givecomprehensive interpretation to the differences of the contemporary youth"knowledge change destiny" value consensus, and analyze comprehensively ofwhich social negative factors lead to the differences; The fourth chapter based onrelated theory and the results of the survey, the paper proposes some reconstructionmeasures about contemporary youth "knowledge change destiny" social consensus,such as,to build a knowledge values which have equally important between scienceand humanities, knowledge and capabilities, to strengthen system innovation of"respect knowledge, respect talent”. Finally, the paper concludes with someconcluding remarks and put forward the prospect of research.
