Ethnic village is an effective carrier to inherit the culture of minority, it is veryimportant resource to develop the area of minority, protection and development ofethnic village is an important component of the national work in our country, so,thispaper focuses on how to improve protection and development policy of ethnic villageand the sustainable development of it.This paper is supported by the theory of sustainable development and ecologicalculture,it is based on the research and summary of ethnic village and relevantprevious research and policy,using multidisciplinary combination of researchmethods,combined with the situation of ethnic village since the protection anddevelopment policy of village being implemented and the effect of the policy inShemihu Village,make a comprehensive analysis of the protection and developmentpolicy’s effect,successful experience,existing problems and reasons.In addition, thispaper puts forward corresodning suggestions of the policy,this can help make theprotection and development policy of ethnic village better,to find a way to make theethnic village develop better,it can also keep the balance of economic development,protection of national culture and ecology.This paper includes six parts:The introduction part expounds the meaning of the topic,previous research andtheories,main contents and innovation points,making a solid foundation for the laterpart.The first chapter combs the origins,main contents and relevant policy of theprotection and development policy of ethnic village on the whole,at the same time,itsummarizes the effects of the implementation of the policy to let us master the policy.The second chapter makes a introduction of Shemihu village,stating the practiceof this policy in Shemihu village based on four parts of the protection anddevelopment policy of ethnic village.The third chapter summarizes the experience of the implementation of theprotection and development policy in Shemihu village,finding out the problems andanalyzing them.The forth chapter summarizes the problems of the implementation of protectionand development policy on a national scale,analyzing the reasons and putting forwardcorresponding measures; make a better outlook of the protection and development ofethnic village in combination with subject research and practical situation,thisincludes tourism industry and legalization of policy.
