China’s Natural Heritage Protection Legislation Research

With the world economy and the advancement of technology, pollution and thedestruction of the human environment resources also will be deepened.Enjoying naturegave us material resources, but also bear the negative consequences of the destruction of theenvironment. Mankind gradually recognized the importance of a very close relationshipwith our natural environment, various protection measures and technology came into being.Natural heritage as an important part of the natural environment. Is of great significance tothe conservation of biological diversity and maintain ecological balance, and promotecoordinated and sustainable development of human and environmental.UNESCO in1972,the17th session of the General Assembly adopted the Convention on the Protection of theWorld Cultural and Natural Heritage, is designed to protect the cultural and natural heritageworldwide. Since1985, China joined the Convention, as of July2012, a total of43projectshave been listed by UNESCO as a "World Heritage List", including nine natural heritage,four of the world cultural and natural heritage. China in2011promulgated the "IntangibleCultural Heritage Protection Law, protection of intangible cultural heritage in the form oflaw, but for the legal protection of the natural heritage is still blank. Gone through a longprocess of legislation on the legal protection of natural heritage, after several easy to draft,by the natural law of the Natural Heritage Protection Act to the loud cries of "naturallyProtection Act, the National Legislative Committee and related scholars and experts arealways no uniform opinion, and thus did not timely to develop a protection of the naturalheritage of the Basic Law, but by the sporadic nature of legislation and administrativeregulations instead of the proper functions of the natural Heritage protection Act.
