A Study Of The Teaching Quality Assurance System On The Management Of Public Administration

The Management of Public Administration was produced by the demand of theincreasing completion of market economy which requires to setting up a new publicadministration system of organization. Compared to the overseas, the development of theManagement of Public Administration is relatively late. Simultaneously, this subject hasgained lots of achievements. However, we cannot ignore that, the growth of this subjecthave some problems. Nowadays, the need to the new public administration system ismore and more urgent. In this case, adequate number of professionals in this field isrequired. In order to provide those qualified professionals, universities should undertakethis mission. The quality of the Management of Public Administration is pivotal to thequality of those professionals which is important to our society. How to improve theteaching quality of the Management of Public Administration has become an urgentproblem. In this research, we want to establish an evaluation index system to ensure thequality of the Management of Public Administration. Through analyzing the existingquality guarantee system and consulting some experts in this field, we choice nine firstlevel indices and twenty-four second level indices to organize a new evaluation indexsystem to ensure the teaching quality of the Management of Public Administration. Byusing the Analytic Hierarchy Process, we have calculated the weights of each index tomake this system quantified. Take the College of Public Administration in HuazhongUniversity of Science and Technology for example to verify the feasibility of thisevaluation index system. At the end of this paper, we put out six suggestions to improvethe development of the Management of Public Administration according to this research.
