With the development of science and technology, a number of enterprises in developedcountries have long been away from the traditional areas of competition, but they firmlyoccupy the front of the value chain, such as technology, research and development, brand andother sectors, they not only have long been away from the traditional areas of competition, butalso changed the competitive rules. In terms of corporate social responsibility, anti-dumping,ILO Treaty, environmental protection, intellectual property, some western countries havealready formulated by the WTO strict rules. In terms of corporate social responsibility,anti-dumping, ILO Treaty, environmental protection, intellectual property and other aspects,some western countries have already formulated strict rules by the WTO. Faced with theseobstacles, the developing countries can not want to enhance the competitiveness of the frontvalue chain. The introduction of a variety of international standards can be said an importantmeasure that the Western countries in Europe and America once again changed the rules ofcompetition with the social and economic development.As a developing country, we oppose the directly link between the SA8000, ILO treatiesand other international standards and international trade. However, economic development andsocial development should be synchronized. Due to the formulation of WTO multilateral traderules are mainly influenced by developed countries and the governments and the trade unionsof these countries are active promoters of labor standards, Therefore, the development trend ofinternational standards and international trade in some form of contact will be possiblerequirements and trends. In this trend, the implementation of international labor standards andSA8000will bring considerable pressure even serious impact to some of our enterprise.In this paper, it analyze the impact of international standards on labor protection by theperspective between ILO treaty and the SA8000, and thus put forward some countermeasuresfor China’s labor protection with international standards.
