The Research Of Government Management Of South Korean Enterprises In Shandong

Since China and South Korea established diplomatic relations, economic and trade cooperation between Shandong and South Korea has developed rapidly, with a large number of South Korean enterprise investing in Shandong and a great quantity of South Koreans studying, working and traveling in Shandong. However, since2003, every year there were many South Korean enterprises evacuating from Shandong. At present, China is in negotiation with Japan and South Korea to set up free trade zone. In accordance with the central government, Shandong endeavors to establish a China-Japan-South Korea economic cooperation demonstration zone.With cooperation between Shandong and South Korea expanding and deepening both in scale and scope, It is a key issue for Shandong to provide high-quality management and service to South Korean enterprises for them to develop in a healthy and orderly way.The research purpose of the thesis is, through analysis of the present situation of government management of those enterprises, to explore measures for those problems in order to improve government’s role and function in management of South Korean enterprises and to take effective measures to solve problems met by South Korean enterprises in Shandong for their healthy and steady development. The thesis focuses on problems of government management of South Korean enterprises in Shandong and measures to improve government management. The thesis is divided into four chapters with the adoption of research methods of literature analysis, comparative research and empirical research. Chapter I includes research background, purpose, significance, research status, research ideas and methods. Chapter II states problems of government management of South Korean enterprises in Shandong, analyzing from five aspects of ideology, law and regulation, daily management, cooperation of functional departments and foreign cooperation. Chapter III expounds government management experiences of foreign-funded enterprises of other provinces in China, mainly those of Suzhou Industrial Pak and Kun shan in capital and investment attraction and government management. Chapter IV put forwards measures to improve government management of South Korean enterprises in Shandong, which include improvtion of government institutions,optimization of investment and human environment, consummation of law and policies, cultivation of enterprises’ social responsibility, establishment of dynamic management, information sharing and warning mechanism, intensification of cooperation between functional departments and enhancement of government cooperation. As the world’s economy changes constantly, it requires the governments of Shandong and South Korea to enhance cooperation and improve and revise policies according to changing environment all the time.
