From The South Korean Media Reports Released By Korea Relations

This research analysed the focus they concerned when South Korea massmedia reported China Since South Korea and China has established officialdiplomatic relation in1992，especially from2007to2011. This studyfocused on an analysis of Joongang News Paper (Joongang IL Bo) which isone of the there bigest South Korean news papers. All articles relatedto China was chosen and divided in politics,economics,culture andsociety.As a result, among all China-related articles of Joongang, there was morethan33%concerned about economics, most of them were about China’seconomic situation and the Sourth Korea-China economic relathions, fewwere about China and other country’s economic relations. The second mostconcerned field was politics, mostly about China’s internal political,China and other country’s political relations, and then the SouthKorea-China political relations. Culture was the3rdbig concern whenJoongang reported China-related articles, and it’s proportion has reasen,while the proportion of society-related articles is decreasing everyyear.
