The Research On The Ideology Modernization Of The New Generation Of Migrant Workers

The problem of migrant workers has been drawing the attention of thewhole society. In recent years, the study of migrant workers of the newgeneration is becoming more and more popular, because they are the newrising special farmer group with new era characteristics. They are not familiarwith agriculture and rural life. Their employment and adult life are morelinked with the city. However, due to various reasons, they can’t get fullyinvolved into urban life. So compared with migrant workers with the firstgeneration, the new generation are in a more adrift and marginalized status.They need the country and the society to give them timely help and guidance.This article does the research on the ideology change of migrant workersof the new generation based on the perspective of the realization of themodernization theory. The ideology of the new generation, the trend ofdevelopment of the ideology, the obstacles encountered in the process ofmodernization and the solution are analyzed one by one on the basis of thegoal, the connotation, and the implementation way of man’s modernization. Itis helpful for the government to grasp the status accurately and set “targetedmeasures” to protect the migrant worker’s life, to improve their quality and toperfect people’s livelihood system of the country. It has important theoreticalguidance and practical significance in the realization of China’smodernization as soon as possible.The article is mainly divided into three parts:The first part puts forward the source of the subject, and defines therelevant concepts and research review. It explains the scope of migrantworkers of the new generation, the characteristics of them, goal, connotation,and implementation way as well as implementation significance. It givesdetails for the theoretical basis of the theory of man’s modernizationrealization theory.The second part, first of all, is the survey of the ideological change of thenew generation. The author has done a questionnaire survey on the workers ofthe industrial area of FengTai County in Huainan city and also has done thestatistical analysis by spss17.0software. At the same time, the author hasdone the random semi-structured interview with some workers there. The final results are obtained. It shows that there are a lot of differences betweenthe old generation and the new. The corresponding safeguard measures andrelated legal system can be set according to these changes, for the migrantworkers to get involved into the urban construction and life better.The third part is the analysis of the questionnaire, using the theory ofmodernization realization. The questionnaire is analyzed and summarizedrespectively from the definition, the goal, the connotation and theimplementation ways. It gives detailed analysis on the obstacles encounteredin the process of modernization realization, and solutions are put forward.Then the research conclusion and limitations are exclaimed. The main idea ofthis article is generalized. And the research can’t be done so well due to thelimited personal ability of the author.
