The Network Political Participation Studies In Contemporary China

Network technology and people’s lives are closely linked in modern information age. when network combined with politics, online political participation arises at the historic moment in the Internet age. Online political participation is a form of mass democracy in virtue of internet, which has been applied in all kinds of intentionally or unintentionally manner in the boisterous network society. It has an actual effect on reality politics, and its effect of network democracy has caused increasingly attention by people. But it is worth noting that the network political participation although has the special advantage brought by the network, but also has the corresponding problems from the network environment. While, on the whole, the network political participation is a developing new thing, which respects a tremendous progress under the new era of democracy process, so we should be optimistic and have a tolerant attitude view to the problems. Network political participation,a form of internet democracy, is a sign of democratic progress in contemporary China, and is also a democratic way which worth affirming.This article mainly divides into four chapters to explain the content:the network political participation studies in contemporary China. The first chapter is introduction, which is the preparation stage of the writing content. It contains the global introduction of research origin and research significance, the combing of the research both at home and abroad, the generalization of the research thought and methods. The second to the fourth chapter is the main part ot the paper. Its research idea is like this, firstly analysis and research the origin and conception of network political participation and its democratic values, then analyzes current situation and problems of citizen network political participation, finally put forward effective path to promote and standardize the network political participation. The second chapter mainly put forward the concept of network political participation by the trace way, and analyzes its democratic values. By introducing the concept of network political participation coming from conventional political participation, focus on the analysis of its unique advantages and its democratic values. The third chapter discuss the status quo and existing problems of network political participation from the relationship of quality and quantity, which mainly aimed at the current booming and the problem of the network political participation and the actual problem. Firstly, analyze the status quo of the citizen network political participation form participation size, participation form, participation subject, participation information. And then analyze the problem of citizen political participation form the lack of citizen participation ability, the imbalance of participation activities, the irrational and illegality participation behaviors, the limitations of participation results. The fourth chapter is mainly aimed at the problems existing in the network political participation, from two angles of promoting and specification to perfect the network political participation. Fistly, talk about possible way to promote the network political participation from the points of technology and system, citizens and the government. And then talk about specification of network political participation measures from the perspective of law and ethics.
