On Improvement Of Food Safety Guarantee System In China

Food security, responsibility is extremely heavy. Foodsafety has a very important significance in economic development、political、stability、social harmony and states abroad have looked uponfood safety as a major livelihood issue. Thus they increasely strengthenthe food security institution-building. In recent years, China has madegreat efforts to improve the security system: introducing the “Food safetyLaw”、reforming the food safety regulation agencies、increasing thepunishment to illegal activities in food safety problems、implementatingthe food recall system……By taking such measures, We have to say that theseinitiatives have achieved good results to a certain extent as well as acertain range. However, the food safety incidents still occur frequentlyjust like “the waste oil” and “lean”. China is currently facing anextremely severe situation of food safety. The reason for which only liesin the long food industry China, large quality and wide ranges, foodproducers and traders of varying quality,integrity and moral failure, andthe imperfect primary food safety system. What’s more, the deeper reasonprom my point of view should be that China’s food safety system isincomplete.This paper is based on the status quo of China’s food safety system,anddeep analysis of its shortcoming, and the outstanding problems, combinedwith the advanced experience of the intraterritorial thinkings and ideasto improve China’s food security system, the whole article is divided intosix chapters to discuss how to improve the food safety system in china;that is: Introduction, Overview of food security, the current situationand problems in china of food security system, the abroad experience ofensuring food safety and its significance in China, and the conclusion as well as several ideas about how to improve China’s food safety system.This paper gives an explanation of such primary issues like the currentsituation in the fields of food safety in China, and the great significancein strengthening and improving the food safety security system. Andthen，I have a deep analysis of the current situation and the existingproblems in China’s food security from the following four aspects: thelegal system for food safety, the supervision mechanism system, theliability system and the relief system of food safety. Finally, on the basisof introducing the advanced experience of extraterritorial countries toensure food security, taking its essence and combined our own country’sconditions, I put forward my suggestions system. Last but not least, I givea hopeful and promising imagination on the future of China’s food safetysystem.
