Study On The Influencing Factors Of Satisfaction Degree Of Nursing Homes In Dalian City

Since the Reform and Opening, China’s economy has been rapidly developed. On theone hand, thanks to our various aspects policy this is suited to China’s economic development.On the other hand, our country has a comparative advantage than Europe and the Unitedstates with the demographic dividend period and low cost of human resources. However,people who have made enormous contributions to China’s economic development will slowlyget into old age and will enter the natural aging process. There is no doubt that it will impactthe construction and the development of our country’s nursing home. Therefore, in this study,putting forward development countermeasures for nursing homes is particularly important.Dalian is a national15deputy provincial city with the highest proportion of aging, whosepension business development is particularly important. And the development of nursinghomes is the most important part in the endowment career. Therefore, studies based on thesetwo aspects of the macro and micro levels have been made in this paper.At the macro level of demand this article predicts the future elderly population based onthe collected data from Dalian Municipal Bureau of statistics in2005-2011year’s oldpopulation data by the two kinds of prediction model named Grey GM (1,1) model andLogistic Growth. Through comparative analysis, the prediction data made by gray GM (1,1)is used as basic data to predict the number of nursing homes. Expanding the architectural areaof the nursing home is the most important aspect of nursing home construction. Using thisprediction data as intermediate variables, this article builds a basic formula of future need toincrease nursing home area. Finally according to the mathematical derivation, model building,the population data input, we got that the future demand for nursing homes is increasing.At the micro level based on reading a lot of papers and interviews to the old, we putforward the hypothesis in five aspects as daily diet, accommodation, medical conditions,living environment, and the overall management. Then we designed a questionnaire accordingto the results of the interview. In order to get more realistic data, the author visited Dalian citypublic nursing homes and private nursing homes and got600copies of questionnaire. Theresults were analyzed by factor analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. Thehypothesis was proved and the multiple regression model is established. Through this studywe get the following conclusions: public nursing homes are better than private nursing homesin the medical conditions, living environment and overall management especially in the dailydiet and accommodation. Therefore private nursing homes should focus on strengthening theconstruction in the two aspects. Finally, our suggestion is to manage different pensioninstitutions to adhere to the system of thought; to explore the fund-raising channels in many aspects; to strengthen the government management on all kinds of nursing homes; to buildstandard system of Dalian City nursing home; to strengthen the construction of nursing teamto improve nursing service level.
