The Study Of College Students’ Knowledge-Attitude-Practice On Food Safety

Food comes first to human,so does safety to food.In recent years,the whole society,including college students have attached great importance and paid great attention to food safety problems.College students are the core force of the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the future,and the mainstay of the development and improvement of our country’s food safety supervision as well.Therefore.it is meaningful to study the status and influecing factors of college students’ Knowledge-Attitude-Practice on food safety.The empirical study of college students’ Knowledge-Attitude-Practice on food safety takes part of college students in Wuxi as samples on the method of cluster multistage and random sampling.Meanwhile,on the method of questionnaire survey and individual interview,the empirical study stretches from two aspects:first,basic conditions of the empirical study,including reliability and validity of the empirical study,basic conditions of the samples and college students’ basic conditions on food safety;second,the status and influencing factors of college students’ Kowledge-Attitude-Practice on food safety,including the overall status of Kowledge-Attitude-Practice on food safety,the status of Knowledge on food safety,the status of Attitude-Practice on food safety and the relevant influencing factors of them.These two aspects contain statistics and information of college students’Knowledge-Attitude-Practice on food safety as well as provide valuable bases for obtaining the results of the empirical study and proposing relevant countermeasures.Therefore,these two aspects are closely-connected and complementary.The results of the empirical study reflect the following facts and problems:first,the status of college students’ Knowledge-Attitude-Practice on food safety is far from optimistic;second,the difference of type of colleges and majors has great influence on college students’ Knowledge-Attitude-Practice on food safety;third,college students wish to improve their levels of Knowledge-Attitude-Practice on food safety,and their ways of gaining knowledge on food safety have been diversified.Pertinent countermeasures could be taken to improve the levels of college students’ Knowledge-Attitude-Practice on food safety:first,making the best of existing resources and conditions to promote the development of propaganda and education on food safety for college students;second,considering the differences among college students to launch propaganda and education on food safety according to their differences;third,combining with the reality of college students’ ways of gaining knowledge on food safety to correctly guide college students’ Knowledge-Attitude-Practice on food safety.
