Food is human kind’s most important and direct consumer goods. Man can not survivewithout food. The quality of food not only influences consumers’ health and safety, but also thenext generation. Therefore, it’s of great importance for us to strengthen the food management toprotect the consumers’ rights and interests. As a result, to perfect food management to producesafe and reliable food to the customers is the responsibility of a sound society. With thedevelopment of the science and technology, while we see the expansion and mechanization offood production scale, we also see the frequent incidents of food safety, which infringesconsumers’ rights and interests on food safety.The fact that the food safety events exposed frequently tells us the severeness of theinfringement brought by food incidents, which involve lots of consumers. It analysisesthe defects of Consumer’s Interest Protection Law, and then points out some countermeasures.Chapter5: first studies experiences of foreign countries on consumers’ rights and interestsprotection, and then points out countermeasures to perfect consumers’ rights and interests.
