Consumers’ right to know in recent years is a serious violation result in frequent outbreak of food safety events, these events involving enterprise small to steamed buns, steamed bread of small food processing plants to wal-mart, KFC, McDonald’s and other large international group. These events to our country’s food safety system is a wake-up call, also makes the consumers to the government and the whole international gave attaches great importance to the safety of the food. Therefore, our country law and legal research to protect consumers’ right to know in a lot of positive force, trying to establish the government supervision as the main way of food safety system to protect consumers’ right to know. Practice has proved that such protection mode so far not enough as the realization of consumer’s right to know in our country is still a serious challenge. The author believes that the current is lack of protected mode.First of all, food production operators and auxiliary government supervision information system should be established. That is to say, in the process of consumer information, food production operators should be as the main obligation of information to provide the main body, the government as the main obligation of a third party should be the main body is timely and accurate information for monitoring. In food consumption in three sides, one side is that consumers are buying users, the food is right the right of the main body, the other two sides is food production operators and the government, is the duty of food consumption in the right to know, have the duty to provide information. The government supervision as the main way to ensure that food safety is not reasonable, is also impossible. In practice, food production operators in control of food safety information in relation to the government supervision department has more advantages, whether for raw materials or for the actual problems in the processing, can directly obtain first-hand information is food production operators, provided by the food safety information to be able, as the most accurate, timely and comprehensive, in the process to guide the government supervision through the legal measures.Secondly, establish overall food production process information disclosure system, establishing the traceability system of food safety information.
