With the continuous development of social economy and frequent contacts between countries, the phenomenon of flow of people also appears more frequent. As influenced by some factors such as foreign marriage, study abroad, visiting relatives, employment, immigration, and births home and abroad, more and more people start to enjoy dual citizenship status. In the society of high-speed development of global economy, citizens’ freedom of migration and flow will inevitably lead to the generation of dual nationality. Our current nationality law, namely the set of the nationality law of the People’s Republic of China in1980, in order to solve the problem of nationality conflicts, and considering the international situation at that time, adopted a policy which does not admit dual nationality. But international situation and social development has emerged a lot of new changes over these years, and the "nationality law" in1980, of which the nationality of the concept and rules obviously can’t adapt to the new social environment change, the Chinese government should make some changes, some provisions of the nationality law in our country, we should admit dual nationality conditionally, only in this way can meet the needs of the social changes, maximize the maintenance state and the interests of the citizens in our country. This Paper systematically discusses the basic theories of nationality firstly based on which the thesis primary studys dual nationality, the problems we face now and the practise activities in dealing with conflicts of nationality in the following chapters. Then the necessity of admitting dual-nationality is analyzed, based on which my views that we should admit dual-nationality within limits are proposed. In the end, I put up with my suggestions and ways in solving those conflicts of nationality.
