On The Approach Of Solution The Problem Of Nationality Conflict In China

Nationality Law of the People’s Republic of China has been promulgated andimplemented for over30years. In the mean time，there was tremendous changingtook place both in domestic and international. As a grass-root of Public securityorgans in immigration management, I found that the current Nationality Act is out oftouch with current domestic and international situation. Nationality conflict isbecoming apparently issume in China. Nationality conflict bring a lot of confusionand inconvenience in daily immigration management practices.In recent years, many overseas Chinese and many experts strongly urge Chinesegovernment to recognize dual nationality, in order to change the serious problem ofnationality conflict. Whether to recognize dual nationality is always the key pointargued by experts and legal practitioners.Based on the accumulation of long-termpractice and nationality law at home and abroad, I believe that our country shouldcontinue to adhere to the "do not recognize dual nationality "policy. this principle,to adapt to the current international and domestic situation, modify the currentNationality Act. Why does not we recognize "dual nationality"? What is the presentsituation and the causes of Nationality conflict in China and how to reduce and avoidconflict of nationality, That is the purpose of the study text.
