Comprehensive Evaluation Based On The Concept Of Human Factors Engineering Seat System

A comfortable, ergonomic design chair is closely related to people’s everyday life. With the accelerated pace of modern life, the increasingly fierce social competition and the rise of popularity of Internet technology, more and more people are engaged in intellectual work even when sitting at his desk long before. So chair design has become an important study direction in the industry engineering. The comprehensive evaluation method which is based on human factors engineering appears significant.The thesis is based on human factors engineering, studying the comprehensive evaluation, relationship and interaction law between man, machine and environment. Its purpose is to make people feel "safe, healthy, comfortable and efficient" in the process of using machinery. Firstly, the thesis introduces the background and meaning, then it reviews documents from three aspects of people, machines and environmental, setting forth its technological routines. Secondly, the thesis sets forth the definition of design chair, introducing the chair’s various classifications and functions. Thirdly, the thesis sets forth the basic ideas of human factor engineering, building and screening the evaluation index system, establishes the evaluation patterns of chair design. Finally, the thesis builds evaluation patterns and researches positively. It has a certain application research meaning and practical value. The build of chair design evaluation system model provides a security and make the engineering design of computer chair not deviate from its principle of the track, so as to explore a road of chair design due to the application of human factor engineering.The main contributions of this thesis are as follows:(1) It bases on essential ideas of human factor engineering, builds and screens the evaluation index system, establishes the evaluation patterns of chair design.(2) The thesis builds evaluation patterns by comprehensive methods and researches positively. What’s more, it evaluates some chairs comprehensively.
