Exploration the inherent relationship between urbanization and ecological environment can be traced back to the late19th century. In recent decades such research become more and more. And this provides a way that you can learn from. Exploring the most effective path to promote the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment and to achieve sustainable development, which is the ultimate goal of this research.Guizhou Province is the internal southwestern province of China. Its terrain condition is at a distinct disadvantage compared to the coastal areas. The urbanization process is actually the rapid growth of economic, economic growth of Guizhou relys on resources. This producing way could easily lead to resource depletion, air pollution, environmental damage and other ecological problems. Solve ecological problems is the necessary way to promote the coordinated development of urbanization and ecological environment. This paper uses Guizhou as the research object, based on the analysis of its urbanization and ecological environment status quo, using EKC to fit reveals the trend of the interaction between the urbanization and ecological environment. Combined with the theory of ecology, economics, resources and environment, it establishs urbanization and ecological environment index evaluation system. And using the Yang Shihong coordinated development model to mesure urbanization development level, the ecological environment development level and its degree of coordinated development. At last, proposed the corresponding countermeasures and suggestions.The thesis is divided into six parts:The first part is about the background, significance, innovative ideas, methods, and theoretical description of this research; second part is about the relating theory of development pattern, including the relationship between urbanization and ecological environment, and some maths model; the third part analyzes four development pattern of urbanization and ecological environment; fourth part through the urbanization and ecological environment status quo of Guizhou, the coordinated analysis about Guizhou Province, get the fitting development pattern for Guizhou; fifth part proposes five urbanization development proposals and three about ecological environmental protecting; sixth part is the summay of conclusions in this text, shortcomings and prospects.
