At present, most of the ultrafiltration membranes for commercial used areorganic polymer materials prepared by phase inversion method. Organic polymerfilm has become the first choice for the film industry because of its rich material,easy molding, simple process, cheap raw and etc. Therefore, organic polymermaterials for separation membranes has been widely used in water treatment orsewage treatment, bio-pharmaceuticals, medical equipment, energy, environmentalprotection and other fields. The organic and inorganic materials compositeultrafiltration membrane has become one of the research hotspots. The compositeultrafiltration membranes can maintain the advantages of the organic polymermaterial, and can use the tiny size of the inorganic powder to improve theperformance in terms of the structure and separation of the film. So the inorganicpowder added to the organic polymer ultrafiltration membrane is a very meaningfulcomposite means for separation membranes.In this study, inorganic-organic PVDF/BBN and PVDF/SBN compositeultrafiltration membranes were prepared by phase separation methods. All of themhave piezoelectric. The objective of this work was adding inorganic particles toenhance water flux, the retention of protein, and also discussed the mechanismprimarily. The morphology of membranes was examined by x-ray diffraction, Fouriertransform infrared spectrometry, a scanning electron microscopy (SEM),Atomic forcemicroscopy (AFM).The results showed that the composite membrane with3%BBNhas the highest water flux424.63L/m2h and the highest rejection of BSA93.02%andthe rejection of EA80.49%. As the pressure increases, the PVDF/BBN compositeultrafiltration membrane protein retention rate is maintained at more than90%.When the pH=4.7, the protein solution flux increased and the antifoulingperformance improved significantly.
