With the great increasing of the amount of cars in our country, the situation of the air pollution that caused by the automobile exhaust become more and more seriously. It is imperative that clean gasoline products are obtained using the cleaning technology, in order to reduce the pollution of the environment. Petro China Daqing Petrochemical Company has built a new oil refining units, but the gasoline products cannot meet the National IV Standard. Therefore, gasline quality upgrade is very urgent.Gasoline quality upgrade project of Petro China Daqing Petrochemical Company includes the construction of a new1.6million t/a catalytic gasoline hydrogenation unit, while renovation and expansion of200000t/a Methyl Tertiary Butyl Ether (MTBE) devices.Pollution prevention methods for the gasoline quality upgrading project were investigated. According to the process characteristics of upgrade gasoline quality, the identification of the sources of pollutants and the pollution source strength calculation were made. The environmental impact of construction projects is analyzed. Then, a project prevent and control pollution is given. It is shown that, the main pollution source of gasoline quality upgrading project are fractionating tower bottom reboiler furnace, heating furnace, stable hydrodesulfurization reboiler, recycle hydrogen desulfurization tower, storage tank area, plant area. And the main pollutants are non methane hydrocarbons, hydrogen sulfide, non condensable gas, sulfur containing wastewater, oily residue ion exchange resin, and waste porcelain ball etc.. The main pollution control measures are as follows:the desulfurization method at the front of the device can greatly reduce the amount of sulfur in gas, and rich amine solution as absorbent for hydrogen sulfide, the enrichment and separation of hydrogen sulfide in recycling gases, thereby reducing the sulfur dioxide produced. A acidic water stripping is used to treatment wastewater containing sulfur. By acidic water stripping unit with single tower and pressured side is used to draw the stripping process, not only the acidic water is purified, but also the waste of the gasoline and liquefied gas sulfur ammonia from hydrogen sulfide removal is purified. The production of ammonia is used as the main raw material of acrylonitrile production, while providing ammonia injection for the FCC main fractionator overhead.
