The Research For Campus Green Space Based On Post Occupancy Evaluation Methodology

In recent years, the construction of campus has set off an upsurge along with the rapid development of higher education in china,and the campus green space has attracted more and more attention.However, after years of research and practice, the vigorous development of the campus green space construction also exposed many problems at the same time,the domestic has not yet formed a unified model and method to evaluate the quality of campus green space quantitatively.Based on the above background, this paper refers to the theory of Post Occupancy Evaluation,the research for Post-Occupancy Evaluation model of the campus green space takes the main campus of Huazhong University of Science and Technology as example,evaluates the built-up campus green space from the perspective of the users,combines the evaluation results with the conclusions of participatory observation,analysis the existing problems in planning and design,and puts forward the corresponding specific optimization strategy, in order to improve the quality of the campus green space construction and promote the sustainable development of the campus green space. This paper mainly discusses the following aspects of content:? Constructing post-occupancy evaluation model of the campus green space from satisfaction evaluation and use-pattern evaluation.First of all,summarize the related theory and the post-occupancy evaluation methods of the built-up environment,according to the content of campus green space planning and design,the existing research results and exploratory surveys,extract the satisfaction evaluation factor set,then screen satisfaction evaluation indicators and calculate the weight of each index through expert questionnaire,ended with the campus green space satisfaction comprehensive evaluation index system, including 7 evaluation criterion such as overall impression,node design road system etc and 35 indexes such as humanistic landscape vegetation diversity marking system etc.Secondly, through a questionnaire survey of the campus green space use-pattern,and sue the data processing functions of the SPSS Statistics data editing software to analysis the use-pattern from two aspects of frequency analysis and cross analysis.? Case study. Taking the main campus of Huazhong University of Science and Technology as example, it was evaluated by using the post-occupancy evaluation model of the campus green space.First,By analyzing 180 survey results through SPSS Statistics data editing software and index score have been got,and it turns out recreation facilities(2.67),plant configuration rationality(2.71),humanistic landscape(3.34),vegetation health(3.38),and marking system(3.40) are the lowest five indicators of the satisfaction score. In terms of comprehensive evaluation,the comprehensive evaluation weighted satisfaction score was 3.5824,which is rating for S2 level,and it turns out landscape design is reasonable,but on the verge of a ‘good' score, also has very big improvement space.
