Construction supply chain management takes the business strategy of win-win andcollaboration between the owner, the designer, the constructor and supplier,aiming to meetingthe owner. It stresses not only the internal cross-functional integrated management, but also thecompany-integrated management.Construction supply chain management needs the help ofadvanced information technology to realizing the management of the building life cycleinvolving all participants and activities.But there are many kinds of different enterprises among the construction supply chain.Coupled with the complexity and long-term, the construction supply chain generates a hugeamount of information which is complex and various.Therefore, the entire construction supplychain management process prone to poor flow of information, lack of information andinformation distortion, which has restricted the management level and efficiency of theconstruction industry.With the development of computer and network technology, it is foundthat the advanced information management technologies and methods can improve the level ofmanagement in the construction industry. Therefore the research about creating, managing, andsharing of the information on the building life cycle within the supply chain becomes thedevelopment trends in the field of construction management.The paper uses BIM technologyinto the building supply chain information flow management, and builds a framework forinformation flow model, in order to give full play to the technological advantages of BIM andconstruction supply chain management advantages, providing a new method and idea for therealization of the construction industry information.First, the paper researches the theory of supply chain and BIM, and use BIM into supplymanagement achieving the most advanced application of BIM. Then, from the point of the corenode-the owner, information and its processes are summarized, the problems and causes ofinformation transfer are analyzed, further describing the value of BIM technology.On thesebases, the paper creates the construction supply chain information flow management modelframework-based on BIM, provides a detailed introduction of its five dimensions including thedata layer, the core layer, the interaction layer, the application layer and the function layer, andexplores the implementation mechanism of this information flow model management. Finally,the paper uses the CMM model to evaluation the construction supply chain information flowrunning, designs an evaluation method and discusses its application.In conclusion, this paper put forward the construction supply chain information flow modelbased on the BIM technology and its specific management, hoping to provide theoreticalsupport for the construction supply chain management; designs the information flow modelrunning evaluation index system which is based on the CMM model, hoping to providereference for the Government to promote the construction industry information constructionand for the enterprises make development programming.
