At present, the construction industry is faced with the transition from traditional architecture to the new building, especially since the 18 th, the construction industry to further accelerate the development of the shift, began to stress to go green, intelligent building industry, lean and intensive path of sustainable development, all the better to promote the management and production level of the construction industry from the backward represented by information technology in the construction industry to change the way of new development. BIM technology as the important technical method to promote innovation and development of construction industry, its application and promotion will bring immeasurable influence to the construction industry. In this paper, from the viewpoint of a construction project in the construction enterprise, examines the various construction projects in the whole life cycle participants in the supply chain information exchange and management situation, and the application of BIM technology combined with supply chain information management, based on BIM technology is presented in this whole life period all participants in the supply chain management information sharing platform, in order to more effectively for the whole life span of control for construction projects.This paper first summarizes the BIM technology at home and abroad and the present research on construction supply chain. Then for BIM technology and the related theory of construction supply chain, theoretical research and analysis, including the concept, application value and prospect of BIM technology, building the concept, characteristics and management mode of supply chain management. The third part analyzes the present situation of the application of supply chain information management in construction projects, combined with the construction project decomposition at various stages in the project implementation stage of the supply chain information, summary of existing projects in the whole life cycle the problems existing in the supply chain information exchange between the parties. Aiming at the problems to build the construction project supply chain information management model based on BIM technology, the principle of model to realize the information sharing platform is established, the information management model from the data layer, core layer, interactive and domain layer four level building BIM model, to achieve faster and more efficient, more safely supply chain information management. After analysis of the information in the process of implementation of supply chain based on BIM technology safeguard mechanism, namely how to safer use of BIM platform, how to strengthen the parties of the trust, and how to encourage project participants actively adopt BIM platform to implement the total project life cycle management of supply chain information. Build is based on the theory of the supply chain information sharing platform of BIM, through the actual case of theoretical argument, RIB ITWO laboratory project of Guangdong in front of the building to establish BIM in the process of the simulation platform and built using BIM technology real-time information of supply chain management of the project, respectively from the building model, quantity surveying, project management and total project control the use of BIM in the four aspects of the project is detailed decomposition. Finally, the thesis research results and innovation points are summarized and concluded, and the development of BIM technology in the construction industry in the future outlook.
