In order to avoid the development of single-center population density, shortage of land, traffic congestion environment degradation, and a series of land, traffic congestion and environmental degradation, and a series of urban disease, group urban layout has become the choice of more and more cities. As the special use of urban land of group city structure, there are a large number of delegation internal travel and tour travel, this has a great difference with the ring structure. Therefore, the group urban transit network optimization must consider this feature of group cities.This paper studies the transit network optimization of a single in group cities. First, This paper introduces transit system characteristics of one single group city in group cities from the three aspects:city characteristics, transit development characteristics and transit passenger flow characteristics; and proposes that it is best to establish large-capacity, rapid rail transit system in interval public transportation for its longer distances,and establish ground ordinary transit and rapid transit in internal public transportation for its short distances considering its accessibility, safety, comfort by travelers. Then it details several transit passenger flow prediction methods:four-stage method, disaggregate model, etc; combines transit system characteristics of one single group city in group cities; analyses the advantages and disadvantages of the above methods; proposes the suitable transit passenger flow prediction method for this one single group city in group cities. This part provides the required data in order to optimize line network. The main emphasis of this paper is the fourth chapter. First, it proposes transit network optimization principles of one single group city in group cities, proposes three-layers public transport network optimization program according to the currently frequently-used public transport network optimization methods, and this method is applied in Chongqing Beibei urban public transportation network optimization n the fifth chapter.Through the research of this study, we get the characteristics of the single group city in group city bus system, and bus passenger flow prediction method as well as the public transportation network optimization method, The key is to optimization the wire network ion of beibei in chongqing city which is as a single group city in the group city.All of these offer certain theory and practice for the line network optimization of single group city in the group city.
