Since the reform and opening-up policy put into practice, the economy of China has developed rapidly, and the urban dimension has ever expanded. The quality of urban citizens’life continuously improved. As the material needs greatly satisfied, they felt heavy pressure with each passing day. Therefore they need more outdoor space to close to nature which can relieve their stress. Under this background, city across the country has positively declared the title of "National Garden City","livable city" and extras. Anyang is no exception. At the present stage, Anyang is now in the rapid development phrase, it expands continuously. How to pleasant people with green space while the city is highly developed has been a topic for conversation which becomes the focus of every aspects. This paper comments on the amenity value of parks to people, in order to give sensible suggestions for city planners and decision makers of construction.In the previous study, lots of scholars used hedonic price model to judge environmental factors closely related to housing price. Different domestic scholars using this model investigate the amenity value of green space and open spaces in Beijing, Shaihang, Shaoguan, Yanji. Fact proves that it has strong reliability to the existing open space and the research of the amenity value of green space.This paper use the hedonic price model to investigate the amenity value of green parks of Anyang. It is different from previous study that this model is not only applied to the existing green space, but also attempted to use in the scheming of the potential amenity value of urban planning green space. The research has partly judged the amenity value of green space and the potential amenity value of planning green space, discovered problems and proposed reasonable suggestions.Through research and analysis, the following conclusions have drawn:(1)This research not only proves that hedonic price model has strong reliability to the existing green space, but also proves that it has great application value in the investigation of the scheming of the potential amenity value of green space.(2)The green space’s amenity realization been quite mediocritized mainly because that the existing open green space’s amenity value is not optimistic. It usually goes together with roads. So it is suggested that important renovations of open green space should distribute besides roads or at the crossings. Decreasing noise and improving the capability of anti-pollution should be paid attention in order to increase the amenity value of the green space.(3)The scheme of the potention amenity value of green space in Anyang performed well. Both the open green space and parks show strong amenity values. People will to live near the green space. And it also shows that the larger the park is, the greater amenity value the park has. Besides, the effect of the distance to green space is significantly greater than the area of it. So it is suggested that the city planner and construction decision maker should follow the principle of inserting green in crevice, in order that the construction of green space reflect high efficiency.(4) The research shows that urban citizens present evident wish to be close to green space, so many high-end flats assemble around the green space. It causes change of the morphology and structure of city. For this reason, advice has made that full realization of green space should be made during the city plan and construction, at the same time, reasonable guide the city’s morphology to develop healthly in order to promote social harmony.
