Reaction kettle belongs to the category of pressure; it is special equipment which needs to accept safety supervision of Government. Reaction kettle is a new wide application industrial product which is a combination of new materials and new technology, in the mean while, it is catalyst of many new industries. This reaction kettle in this paper,high temperature and high pressure reaction kettle, its various aspect performance requirement is more strict than the requirements of conventional reaction kettle. High temperature and high pressure reaction kettle system mainly consist of three parts:the reaction kettle and electromagnetic induction heating system; Control system; Operation interface. In developing process, this subject solved several problems of the structure, materials, and software. The accumulated relevant methods and theory, has some important value of engineering application.In structure design, reaction kettle is designed as a single-layer body, which means easy manufacturing and economy; In high pressure, the whole design use Blasting failure criteria; In high temperature, which is the most difficult point, the design scheme is seeking a solution from materials. And as to the heating method, this subject use electromagnetic induction heating system.In Control system, this subject used the most mainstream PID control strategy and FUZZY control. Computer, intermediate frequency power supply, instrument, and ADAM module are the main control device. In this subject, pressure and temperature is control object. Temperature control is the key, the temperature measurement and control device of this system is mainly composed of thermocouple and instrument, the instruments’communication was realized under MODBUS, in which the interface is widely applied RS-485interface, can easily form a local communication network.Operation interface is a reflection of humanized design. A good interface can bring many conveniences for work. Operation interface mainly realize the display and detection of heating process. In addition, the operation interface should have the following function:processing and save of experimental data; query and print; switch between manual operation and automatic operation.The design of this subject starts with overall design, which means consider design factors according to the actual needs, and then gradually to carry on the detailed design. The first draft was designed under relevant theoretical support, and then the design was tested through some experiment. But the finishing of the final design was more dependent on debugging and changes. In design method, the using of CAD tools makes work to reduce a lot. ANSYS helped to calculation and check the design of reaction kettle, which makes the check process fast and intuitive; MATLAB saved a lot of time in control design, and it made the design process to be kind of interesting; LAB VIEW made interface design seem to be easy, because of the intuitive GUI language released people to concentrate more on logic design instead of the graphic design.This subject involved in several aspects, for example, materials, machinery, control and communication. This paper made the introduction of every single subsystem, and the related design process is given. The difficult point is high temperature design, cause the technological requirements need the reaction kettle bear80Mpa under1200℃, and TZM alloy solved this problem. Besides, the practice shows that purely theoretical design rarely bring good design.A perfect design requires a combination of specific engineering practice experience and system debugging.At last, this article summarized the deficiency of the subject and prospected the future research direction. Especially on the control system of this subject, the article put forward the improvement ideas.
