Nowadays, with the advent of the era of microelectronics, and the constantlyintellectualization of modern life, smart grid system has gradually become thegrowing trend of watt-hour meter. Watt-hour meter has regarded as the main nationalelectricity detection tools for a history of more than one hundred years. And in thewake of development, it has become more capable of conquering nature. Meanwhile,it can be effective for data calculation, and constantly improve the efficient use ofelectricity. And remote centralized monitoring system can make the operationpersonnel adopt remote operation, and the administrative departments of electricpower monitors the power grid more convenient. But the practical application of smart grid in the watt-hour meter monitoringtechnology is facing many problems. For example: how to collect the current value ofthe users to the smart grid monitoring system; how to effectively calculate, analysisand process the collected data; how to remote control the pass through power of user;how to display the processed results. Among them, how to process and calculate theanalog signals collected from power grid is the fundamental question that the smartgrid monitoring needs to face with.Above these problems, the topic has made an intensive exploration and research.Proposing the human-computer interface as operating platform, and electric powermonitoring module effectively process the analog signals collected from power gridwithout distortion. Through the main control module effectively transform the dataand calculate power factor. That builds a relatively complete set of smart gridmonitoring system based on industrial Ethernet. Finally, through the performance of the analysis of each part which includes theprocessing of monitoring module electric power, centralized monitoring system, andthe practical application of truth data contrast of smart grid shows that the intelligentpower monitoring system achieves preliminary success.
