Capacitance Method Of Washing And Drying Machine And Humidity Detecting System Based On

The auto-drying detection of washer-dryer has very important significance in intelligent washer-dryer machine, so it has high application value to develop auto-drying detection methods which are high-accuracy, low-cost, and suitable for washer-dryer. The key technology to washer-dryer’s auto-drying detection is the accurate detection of laundry humidity in washer-dryer. Basing on the analysis of several auto-drying detection methods, this paper presents a new method to detect the laundry humidity base on capacitance method. This research is a cooperatation with XX company, and the object of this research is the washer-dryer producted in XX company.Firstly, this paper demonstrates the feasibility of using capacitance method to detect laundry humidity in washer-dryer theoretically. Then, it makes a decision to use QTouch technology to detect laundry humidity.Secondly, this paper brings out the frame of laundry humidity detection system in washer-dryer. It chooses AT42QT1011QTouch sensor as capacitance measurement module and then designs its peripheral circuit and the sense electrode of capacitance measurement module base on washer-dryer’s construction. This paper uses STC89C52to collect and deal with the output of QTouch sensor to get touch time and touch number, and then communicate with PC. It designs weight measurement module and temperature measurement module. This paper programs the upper computer debug software through Lab VIEW.Finally, this paper performs some tests and gets the relationship between touch time and laundry humidity base on the test data to verify the feasibility of capacitance method. Then analyze how to build the prediction model through Moving-average modeling and how to use the prediction value to terminate drying process automatically.This research broadens the thinking of auto-drying detection in washer-dryer, and has very high application value.
