With the raising of the hoisting capacity of the all-terrain crane, therequirements to the dynamic performance of all-terrain crane are higher andhigher. In this paper the driveline of the all-terrain crane was studied combiningwith the project of the chassis key technology of the1200t all-terrain crane. The all-terrain crane is a multiple axis drive vehicle. Based on the study ofaxle loads allocation, the multi-axle vehicle’s vertical axle loads mathematicalmodel was established and the axle load of the all-terrain crane was calculated.Using the software of Adams/Driveline, the model of the driveline of theall-terrain crane was established for the simulation of the dynamics. Thedrive-axle layout schemes of the all-terrain crane were designed and the suitableone was confirmed through the simulation of the dynamic performance. Finally, the assignment of the driving force was optimized and estimated through theresult of the simulation of the dynamic performance. The research shows that the axle load calculation model of the multi-axlevehicle is reasonable, and the2nd,5th,7thand8thfor driveshaft is the best layoutscheme. Using the optimized coefficient of driving force distribution which thepaper proposed can greatly improve the dynamic performance of the vehicle.
