All terrain crane is widely used in many kinds of emplacement workplaces such as the wind power, the solar power, constructions, and bridges etc. Because all terrain crane usually works in the outdoor environment, it requires better driveline to meet high performance like power performance and trafficability characteristic.Based on nine-axle all terrain crane as research object, this paper study the theory on driving torque distribution to find out its factors; Build the model of driving torque distribution for all terrain crane, and find out the relationship between driving torque distribution and the distribution of axle load. Build and assemble 3D model of the driveline using Soild Works, put it into ADAMS, then add the corresponding constraints among every part, the tire model and road model are built in ADAMS, finally the multi-body dynamics model is finished, testify the motion relationship agrees with the desired one of the model by simulation.Firstly, the transfer case is selected as the research object.By parametric modeling and dynamic simulation analysis, provide the reference to gear transmission system modeling and dynamic analysis. Then, under different environment settings including the good horizontal road, the slope road, the muddy road and the stairs road, respectively make simulation analysis of power performance and trafficability characteristic of two typical transmission schemes on the market. Lastly, comparing power performance and trafficability performance of the two driveline schemes, make sure which is superior, analyses theoretically the causes on driving torque distribution and give the design reference of driveline scheme.
