Lamp Monitoring System Based Power Line Carrier Communication

With the rapid advancement of technology and the development of the global economy, street lighting system becomes more and more huge, the increase of energy consumption and heavier burden on the city must surely follow. For the above situation, to solve the problem of difficult to monitor and overhaul the huge street lights system, a new system based on Lonworks bus was proposed. ADE7753chip and Lonworks bus are the core of the system, ADE7753chip and power line communication chip form the data collection node, data were collected by each node, all the information of the street lights was transmitted to the data management center by power line communication, the data management center judges the state of street lights by the data we get, we can monitor the state of street lights in real time by this way. If we find abnormal, we can give an alarm and send technical personnel to solve the problem. Not only can we save human resources, but also can prevent the dangerous because of the damage of the street lignts.This system mainly consists of three parts:The node controller, Link controller, PC. The node controller is mainly composed of ADE7753, PL3120, DS1302chip, responsible for collecting lamp current, voltage and other related parameters; Link controller consists of a iLON smartserver intelligent server, it is responsible for collecting all the information of the node controller through the power line, and transmit the information to the host computer; PC is responsible for judging the data and publishing relevant command according to the real-time situation.The system above has been debugged, it could be able to effectively save manpower, financial resources, and alarm the unexpected situations immediately, It has some practical value.
